There is no QR code on my ticket

Modified on Fri, 6 Feb at 5:11 PM

Most tickets within the myTrip app have a QR code to scan on the bus ticket machine. However, some tickets do not require a QR code.

Tickets without a QR code can be used as a “flash pass”, please show the ticket to your driver. This is common as some tickets don’t require a QR code. It has been agreed with all myTrip operators that you can use the daily word as an alternative. Show the active ticket to the driver so they can check the animated word and confirm that your ticket is valid for travel.

There is another way to board if your ticket is not working, too. For more information on this, please see our help article on the Word Of The Day!
